The type of exercises that could be started (all exercises should be approved and supervised by MD/PT) include riding a stationary bike either single or double leg for endurance (low resistance, long duration, 80-90 rpm). We add "hill climbs" (high resistance, low duration) between 4-6 wks post-op.
 
Pool exercises include a lot of walking (all directions), hopping, leg swings, squats.</description>
